Silver Service Cabs

Silver Service cabs, not to be confused with Silver Top taxis (see below), are taxis that provice a premium level of service to customers. Silver service cabs are a preferred service for most, however there are fewer silver cabs on the roads.

Some networks charge extra for bookings on silver service fleets, so please keep this in mind when booking premium services. These extra charges often don't apply when you flag a taxi off the street, but again, it depends on the network.

Different networks have different names for these premium cabs, including business class, prestige and plus fleets. Most networks offer a premium taxi service.

If you book a silver cab using Taxi Pro, you can ride in luxury all of the time! Just select Prestige Cabs or another silver cab network as your selected network and you're on your way!

Silver Top Taxis

There is some confustion about the silver top taxi network. Silver top taxis is a taxi network in Melbourne and have multiple offerings. Silver Top Taxis has standard, green, shuttle, airport and silver service variants in their fleet. We are working on support for the silver top taxi network on Taxi Pro and this should be available in Q1 2012.
